 ¿What is sustainable development?



The most known definition as sustainable development is the one from "Comisión Mundial sobre Ambiente y Desarrollo" (Comisión Brundtland) which in 1987 defined sustainable development as:

"The development that guarantee todays´needs without compromise the future generations ones to face their own needs".

                                               Purpose:

-Satisfy today´s needs, promoting an economical activity which supplies the needs for everybody in the world.

-Satisfy future´s needs, reducing to the limit the negative effects of the economical activity, in the use of resources and also in the generation of residues, to also be bearable for the next generations.
